Our agency is delighted to announce that Ptl. Michael Vullo, Pfc. Christopher Smith, Ptl. Troy Aratan, and Ptl. LaTesha Davis has been awarded “Certificates of Recognition” for February.

On February 2, around 1:00 a.m., officers patrolled the Abberly Crossing Apartments area due to recent vehicle break-ins and suspicious activity. While patrolling the area, Officer Smith heard vehicle alarms going off near the apartments. Officer Aratan arrived and saw a male dressed in dark clothing and wearing a mask. The individual fled across Patriot Blvd. Pfc. Smith and Ptl. Vullo chased the suspect and apprehended him in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

"Supervisors called the arrest significant, given the property crimes in the Wescott community. Congratulations on a great team effort! (Note that Ptl. Vullo and Pfc. Smith are not pictured.)"
