Aden Price earns fifth weekly award after strong showing at Tryon Invitational

Aden Price has been named Freshman of the Week by the league office, marking his fifth weekly recognition this season. The announcement came after Price’s performance at the Tryon Mid-Winter Invitational, where he won both the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes. He achieved a personal best in the 200m with a time of 21.30 seconds, which is now the fourth-fastest in Charleston Southern history. In the 400m, he finished with a time of 47.97 seconds.

Earlier in the winter season, Price received multiple awards: Men’s Track Athlete of the Week and Men’s Freshman of the Week on January 14, another Men’s Track Athlete of the Week on January 28, and Men’s Freshman of the Week again on February 11.

Charleston Southern’s indoor track and field team will compete in their final meet of the season at the Big South Championships. The event will take place at Tyron, North Carolina from Friday, February 27 to Saturday, February 28.
