Applications are now open for the 2026 Managers Institute, a leadership development program aimed at strengthening managers at key points in their careers. The program is scheduled to run from March 17 through May 12, 2026.

This marks the second year of the Managers Institute, following its initial session in 2025. The institute is designed to provide both emerging and experienced managers with practical skills and self-awareness needed for effective team leadership. Mike Mosel, founder and CEO of Pelarity, leads the program by combining behavioral science with practical leadership strategies.

Participants will take part in a combination of in-person and virtual sessions. They will also use the PI Behavioral Assessment to better understand work styles, communication preferences, and leadership tendencies. This approach aims to help participants see how individual behavior affects team performance and organizational results.

Therese Gordon, Associate Vice President of the Leadership Center, commented on last year’s impact: “The impact we saw from last year’s participants was significant,” she said. “The 2025 class left with greater confidence, stronger communication skills and a clearer understanding of how their leadership shows up within their teams. We heard repeatedly that the sessions were immediately applicable and highly impactful.”

Managers receive direct feedback on their leadership challenges throughout five core modules and leave with strategies they can implement right away. Past participants have described the program as “amazing” and expressed gratitude for being part of the inaugural group.

For organizations, the Managers Institute offers an opportunity to invest in future leaders and support succession planning efforts. Individual managers gain tools to improve their effectiveness.
