The City of Charleston has announced road closures and event details for the annual Holiday Parade, scheduled for December 7, 2025. The parade will start at 3 p.m. on Broad Street near Colonial Lake, proceed along Meeting Street, and end in Marion Square. At the conclusion of the parade, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be held in Marion Square.

According to city officials, road closures along the parade route will begin at 2 p.m., restricting through traffic but allowing cross traffic until 2:45 p.m. After that time, all cross traffic on the route will also be closed. Officers will be present along the route to help manage traffic flow and provide access to neighborhoods.

Vehicle access to some businesses and residences along the parade route will be limited during the event.
