College of Charleston in South Carolina allocated $7.7 million to its basketball teams in 2024, marking a 22.8% rise compared to the previous year, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

Basketball team expenses at the university amounted to $7.7 million, representing 31.1% of the total athletic spending in 2024.

The basketball fund received over $171 million in NCAA revenue for the 2023–24 season.
