College of Charleston volleyball head coach Jason Kepner has announced the addition of Laura Sarajarvi to the team’s 2026 roster. Sarajarvi, an outside hitter from Tampere, Finland, will join the program in the fall.
Sarajarvi previously played with the Finnish U20 team, earning a silver medal in 2025. She also competed for Oriveden Lukio, where she secured a silver medal at a high school volleyball tournament in 2024.
“I am really excited about the addition of Laura to our roster for the fall,” said Kepner. “She is a very experienced player who can attack from anywhere on the net. She is a 6’3″ skilled athlete who can swing high with a lot of power. I am looking forward to coaching her and getting her in our gym. The more we talked, the more excited I got about her. She is a great person, who is very motivated and will fit into our culture and gym right away.”
