College of Charleston’s baseball team will host South Alabama for a three-game series from February 20 to 22, followed by a single game against Air Force on February 23 at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The first pitch on Friday is set for 4 p.m., and all home games will be broadcast live on FloCollege.

As part of Super Fan Saturday, Cougar fans who present their men’s basketball ticket for the Monmouth game at the Patriots Point box office will receive a general admission ticket to the baseball game on Saturday.

Charleston comes into these games after defeating No. 6 Coastal Carolina 4-3 in its first midweek contest of the season. Freshman Carter Harrington led with seven strikeouts over three innings. First-year player Kaden Myers and redshirt sophomore Ryan Hench kept Coastal Carolina’s offense contained before graduate student Kurt Rogers closed out the final three innings to secure the win. Charleston has now won three consecutive games against Coastal Carolina, with two of those wins coming when Coastal was ranked.

Redshirt senior Ethan Plyler currently holds a .417 batting average and a .476 on-base percentage as he enters the weekend series.

In previous matchups, College of Charleston holds a 5-1 record over South Alabama, last facing them in 2013 and winning their most recent meeting at Patriots Point that year. The Cougars have played Air Force only once before, securing a victory in March 2023.

After this homestand, Charleston will play East Carolina on February 25 at Segra Stadium in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Tickets for individual home games can be purchased online or by calling the ticket office at (843) 953-2632.
