Charleston Cougars sailing teams win all three home regattas

The College of Charleston sailing teams achieved first place in all three of their opening spring regattas. The Cougars won the 2026 SAISA Open and Women’s Top 6 Team Races, with the team finishing undefeated at 8-0 in the Open regatta through both round one and the final four. In the women’s competition, Charleston posted a 4-1 record in Round 1 and then defeated all three opponents in the final four to secure first place.

Additionally, the offshore team competed locally and took first place at the Southern Collegiate Offshore Regatta. This event is recognized as the second-largest college keelboat regatta in the United States.
