Charleston men’s tennis travels to Coppin State for Friday afternoon match

The Charleston men’s tennis team will travel to Baltimore for a match against Coppin State on Friday. The contest is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. at the Coppin State Tennis Courts.

Charleston enters the match with a 1-3 record this season, while Coppin State is seeking its first win after losing its first two matches to Stonehill and Lafayette. Fans can find links to live stats or streaming, if available, on the Charleston men’s tennis team’s schedule page on cofcsports.com.

Last week, Charleston secured a 5-2 victory over Wofford at the Turner Tennis Center. Jakub Solarski, a junior from Lodz, Poland, was recognized as Coastal Athletic Association Co-Player of the Week on February 17. According to the announcement, “Jakub Solarski earned Coastal Athletic Association Co-Player of the Week honors on Feb. 17. The junior from Lodz, Poland won all three of his matches, including two singles victories in slot No. 2.”

After facing Coppin State, Charleston will next play Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg on Sunday, March 1 at 3 p.m. EST.
