As the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce prepares for 2026, it has announced a series of events and programs for the first quarter aimed at fostering engagement among its members. The organization credits its members for driving participation and shaping conversations in 2025, which resulted in high attendance and active dialogue throughout the year.

The upcoming Legislative Reception is scheduled for January 8, 2026. According to the Chamber, last year’s event attracted over 350 attendees and provided an opportunity for members to interact directly with elected officials. “Your conversations, questions and willingness to advocate helped drive meaningful dialogue with elected and government officials in 2025,” the release states.

Charleston Young Professionals (CYP) will hold its annual kickoff on January 21, featuring remarks from Kevin Sheilley and introducing a new advisory council. The Chamber notes that CYP’s programming in 2025 enabled young professionals to expand their networks and find mentors.

The Impact Series returns with sessions planned for January and March. In previous years, these discussions covered topics such as hospital systems and redevelopment projects. The Chamber says member engagement was key: “Members made the 2025 Impact Series stand out by engaging deeply with every topic, from hospital system insights to major redevelopment efforts.”

Chamber 360 & Chamber Connect are set for February 4. These events are designed to help new or existing members learn about opportunities within the organization while networking with peers.

Thrive will take place in February as well, focusing on women professionals seeking support and professional growth through community-building discussions around wellness and purpose.

Coffee with the President is scheduled for February 10 and March 10. This series offers Leadership Circle investors direct access to senior leadership within the Chamber.

Vision 2026 is planned for February 24. Last year’s Vision event focused on long-term organizational goals; this year’s breakfast aims to continue that discussion about priorities impacting both the organization and region.

A Career Exploration Fair will be held on March 3, inviting businesses to connect with students through hands-on career experiences intended to foster workforce development in the region.

Finally, classes begin in March for Managers Institute—a program launched last year that provides practical leadership training under Mike Mosel of Pelarity.

The Chamber emphasizes that ongoing participation by its members continues to shape advocacy work, leadership initiatives, networking opportunities, and regional development efforts throughout each year.
