Kristin Hysner has joined the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce as its new Marketing Coordinator. In this role, she will oversee social media efforts, manage content creation and editing, design promotional visuals, and help coordinate marketing projects for the organization. Hysner will also serve on the Charleston Young Professionals advisory council.

Originally from Myrtle Beach, Hysner graduated from Clemson University in 2024 with a degree in Marketing. Her previous experience includes working as a Social Media Manager at a marketing agency in Conway, South Carolina, and completing internships at both Clemson University and the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Hysner said she is eager to combine her interest in content creation with work that benefits local businesses. “I’m excited to combine my passion for content creation with meaningful work that supports the Charleston business community. I look forward to meeting the people who shape our region and contributing my skills to help tell their stories,” Hysner stated.

Erin Aylor, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Events at the Chamber, commented on Hysner’s hiring: “Kristin’s background in digital marketing and event promotion makes her a valuable addition to our team. Her creativity and energy will bring a fresh perspective to how we share the Chamber’s mission.”

Outside of her professional life, Hysner enjoys outdoor activities on the water, trying new restaurants, and exploring different neighborhoods in Charleston. She expressed enthusiasm about getting involved locally and forming new relationships within the community.
