Charleston Metro Chamber names Fran Boyd as senior vice president of finance & operations

Fran Boyd has joined the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations. In her new position, Boyd will manage the organization’s finances, operational systems, and administrative processes.

Boyd previously spent 16 years with the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, where she gained experience in finance, operations, and association management. Her background is expected to support the Chamber’s internal functions and its mission to help local businesses succeed.

Chamber President and CEO Kevin Sheilley commented on Boyd’s appointment: “Fran is a fantastic addition to our team. She has deep knowledge and understanding of association finance. This expertise, coupled with her commitment to our region, provides incredible leadership to both the Chamber and the Metro.”

Boyd is a resident of James Island and participates actively in the Charleston community. She also takes part in local sailboat racing and enjoys spending time along the coast with family and friends.

The Chamber expressed confidence that Boyd’s leadership will help advance priorities important to the region.
