The Charleston Metro Chamber has announced the Leadership Charleston Class of 2026, marking the 53rd year of its leadership development program. This initiative brings together over 70 professionals from across the region for a 10-month experience focused on understanding key issues affecting the community and economy.

Participants will engage in sessions covering topics such as government, infrastructure, economic development, workforce, and military affairs. The program includes hands-on learning led by regional experts and is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of local challenges while fostering connections among emerging leaders.

“Leadership Charleston has a powerful legacy of cultivating leaders who drive meaningful change in our community,” said Therese Gordon, Associate Vice President of Leadership at the Charleston Metro Chamber. “The Class of 2026 will carry forward that tradition, strengthening their own leadership impact while making a lasting difference within their organizations and across our region.”

Since its start more than five decades ago, Leadership Charleston has produced thousands of alumni who have taken on significant roles in business, government, and nonprofit sectors. Members of the Class of 2026 are expected to continue this tradition by contributing to both their organizations and the broader community.
