Nominations are now open for The Honors 2026, an annual event that recognizes organizations and individuals contributing to the Charleston region. The awards include six categories: Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Community Impact Champion, Entrepreneur of the Year, and One to Watch.
The ceremony will take place on April 23, 2026 at The Grand at 81 Mary. Nominations can be submitted until February 27, 2026. Award recipients will be announced in mid-March.
According to organizers, “Selection is based on the quality and strength of the nomination and the merit of the nominee, not the number of submissions received for the same organization or individual.”
Business of the Year honors an established organization with more than 20 years in operation that demonstrates sustained success and a commitment to strengthening Charleston’s future. Small Business of the Year is awarded to a small business that shows strong performance while investing in employees and community engagement.
Non-Profit of the Year goes to a non-profit organization delivering lasting impact through mission-driven work. Community Impact Champion recognizes an organization or individual whose leadership has benefited the community through investment in business or civic initiatives.
A new category for 2026 is Entrepreneur of the Year, which highlights visionaries who have built or grown successful enterprises. One to Watch acknowledges emerging leaders making a meaningful impact through professional excellence and community involvement.
Recipients will be selected by a committee made up of past award winners and stakeholders from the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
