Nicole Hodges has joined the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce as the new Member Experience Coordinator. In her role, Hodges is responsible for welcoming members and serving as a key point of contact at the Chamber headquarters. She will also oversee daily operations related to the Chamber’s facilities and customer relationship management system, supporting various teams to streamline member engagement.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Hodges worked as Golf Tournament Director at Sun City Hilton Head. There, she coordinated events and worked closely with associations, gaining experience in community-focused activities. Her previous work with Troon and her collaborative approach were cited as reasons for her selection for this position.

Chelsea McCracken, Associate Vice President of Human Resources at the Chamber, commented on Hodges’ appointment: “We’re thrilled that Nicole has joined our team. She exemplifies a warm, genuine welcome to everyone she meets and her thoughtful approach elevates how we engage with our members. Nicole has a unique ability to connect people and align needs seamlessly with the right members of our team.”

Hodges recently moved from Martinsville, Virginia to Charleston in August and now resides in the Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood downtown. She is spending time exploring local venues and plans to return to dance at a nearby studio.

When asked about what excites her most about joining the organization, Hodges said: “I love getting to know people’s stories. Every member has a unique journey and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

The Chamber encourages its members to welcome Hodges during their next visit.
