Aden Price, a member of the Charleston Southern Buccaneers Men’s Track and Field team, made a strong start to his collegiate career at the Clemson Invite last weekend. In his debut, Price competed in two events and achieved top-ten all-time school performances in both.

During his first college race, Price participated in the 300-meter dash. He finished eighth in the event and set new school and conference records for the distance. Later that day, he ran as part of the men’s 4×400 meter relay team, contributing to a time of 3:16.46. This performance is now recorded as the seventh-fastest relay time in Charleston Southern history.

On Wednesday, Price was recognized by the Big South Conference as both Men’s Track Athlete of the Week and Freshman of the Week following these achievements.

Charleston Southern is scheduled to compete again next weekend at Clemson for their second meet of the year. The Orange & Purple Invite will take place from Friday, January 23 through Saturday, January 24.
