Charleston Southern University’s Eugenie Varet has been named the Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week after securing her first collegiate individual title at the RiverTowne Intercollegiate, according to an announcement from the conference.

Varet began the tournament with a score of 73, improved to 71 in the second round, and concluded with a 72. Her performance placed her at even par for the event and earned her the top spot on the leaderboard. During the tournament, she recorded eight birdies and led all players with 38 pars. Her play also helped Charleston Southern finish third in team standings.

This is Varet’s second time receiving this recognition from the Big South Conference. She was previously honored as Golfer of the Week in February 2025 following a tie for 15th place at the Daniel Island Invitational.
