The result strengthens Charleston’s position ahead of the upcoming Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Tournament.

In doubles play, UNCW took the first court before McKee and Saige Severance evened the score with a decisive win on court three. Oziera Ahmad and Riley Trinkle then clinched the doubles point for Charleston with a victory in the No. 2 slot, giving their team an early lead.

Marra Bruce added another point with straight-set wins on court five, while Trinkle secured the match for Charleston by sweeping court six. After clinching victory, UNCW responded by winning third set tiebreaks on courts two and three.
