City of Charleston offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

According to the city, there will be changes to some public service schedules. For residents on the Peninsula, Inner West Ashley, and James Island (served by city crews), there will be no collection on Veterans Day. The regular Tuesday route will move to Wednesday, Wednesday’s route to Thursday, and so forth for the rest of the week. However, those living in Johns Island and Outer West Ashley or Daniel Island and Cainhoy (served by Trident Waste) will not see any change; their collection will continue as usual.

Recreational facilities will also have schedule adjustments. The Municipal Golf Course will remain open on November 11. All other tennis centers, recreation facilities, and programs operated by the city will be closed that day.

All City Offices will remain closed throughout Tuesday in recognition of the holiday.
