The City of Charleston is organizing a community breakfast and neighborhood litter cleanup at Mulberry Park on Saturday, October 25. The event will take place from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at 1653 Mulberry Street. Residents, families, and city staff are invited to participate in the morning activities focused on community engagement and service.

This quarter’s cleanup coincides with the end of the 2025 Love Your Block grant cycle, a project supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies in the Ardmore-Sherwood Forest Neighborhood.

Mayor Cogswell will join representatives from City of Charleston Economic & Neighborhood Services, Keep Charleston Beautiful, the Charleston Police Department, the Charleston Fire Department, and City of Charleston Livability and Tourism for the event.

According to organizers, “These quarterly cleanups bring residents and City staff together to strengthen community connections, promote neighborhood pride, and keep Charleston beautiful. It’s also a great opportunity for kids to earn volunteer hours.”

The event is open to all ages. Registration information can be found at https://tinyurl.com/m2c4hfk8.
