Charleston Southern University’s Jesse Hafemeister has been named the final Big South Conference Player of the Week for the 2025–26 regular season.

During the evaluation period, Hafemeister ranked second in points per game with an average of 22.0. He led all qualifying players in both field goal percentage and three-point percentage, shooting 67% in each category. He also placed among the top 20 rebounders in the league, averaging 5.5 rebounds per game.

In Charleston Southern’s last regular-season game against UNC Asheville on Saturday, Hafemeister scored 28 points. Of those, 21 came from three-point shots as he made seven out of ten attempts from beyond the arc. This performance marks the third-highest single-game total for three-pointers by a Buccaneer this season and ranks as the 12th most in program history.

“On Sunday afternoon, the Big South Conference announced its final Player of the Week award winner for the 2025–26 season: Charleston Southern’s Jesse Hafemeister.”
