The Southeastern Institute-Charleston enrolls 133 undergrads

At the Southeastern Institute-Charleston, 50 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 93 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in North Charleston enrolled 133 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 15.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of South Carolina.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (56 percent) and white (22 percent).
