Medical University of South Carolina enrolls 329 undergrads

At Medical University of South Carolina, 54 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 86 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Charleston enrolled 2,944 students in fall 2018, including 329 in undergraduate and 2,615 in graduate programs, data shows. 40.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (74 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).
