Charleston County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on July 18.

✔️ Willingness to serve beyond the call

It’s our first requirement for any career with CCSO: a desire to serve the community in any way possible while upholding our values as a world-class law enforcement agency.

Detention Deputy Christopher Connell committed to that requirement recently when he was sworn in as the newest member of the Detention Center ranks. Congrats and welcome, Detention Deputy Connell!

What else does it take to be a detention deputy and wear a badge of your own? Here are some basic qualifications:

✔️ HS diploma or GED

✔️ US citizen at least 21 years old

✔️ Valid DL

✔️ No criminal convictions

✔️ Ability to pass three-week academy class

Got what it takes for this rewarding, stable career? Find out more and sign up at https://ccsojobs.com/detention-deputy.php#qualifications.
