The Charleston Jazz Orchestra (CJO) announced its 14th season, which begins at the Charleston Music Hall in February 2022.
Shows running throughout the season will also be available for access as virtual performances, the CJO website states.
"I am extremely excited for Season 14! We’ve got a wonderful slate of shows lined up,” CJO Music Director Robert Lewis said in a note on the orchestra’s website.
Season 14 will offer six concerts featuring guest artists Camille Thurman, the Buena Vista Legacy Band and Sean Jones for a Miles Davis tribute. The remaining lineup will include Duke Ellington’s New Orleans and Far East Suites, the music of Chick Corea and the Charleston Jazz tradition of Holiday Swing.
Tickets range from $25 to $64. Student tickets are $10. Attendees may purchase a season subscription, a trip pass package or a virtual ticket package on the CJO website.
Fans of the orchestra may sign up to receive orchestra updates, including event reminders and more information, according to a Sept. 30 tweet by the orchestra.
