Of the 2,664 people living in Folly Beach in 2020, 47.4 percent (1,263) were women and 52.6 percent (1,401) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Charleston Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 310. In the 65 and over age range, there were 315 females and 190 males.
