Today, Mayor Tecklenburg, Charleston Interreligious Council President Dena Fokas Moses and Secretary Ed Kosak announced January 2023 as Interfaith Harmony Month and a month-long series of faith-based events.

The Governor has proclaimed January to be Interfaith Harmony Month in South Carolina, marking the fourth year that the city of Charleston has held a local observance in cooperation with the Charleston Interreligious Council.
