Bill to “Rein In” Wasteful Taxpayer Spending

Washington, D.C.- On June 16, the House passed the REINS Act, to cut Washington's red tape and rein in overbearing federal regulations which have cost American taxpayers trillions over the years. As one of the original co-sponsors of the bill, Rep. Mace has issued the following statement:

“The REINS Act is a vital piece of legislation restore accountability and balance to the regulatory process by requiring congressional approval for major regulations and promoting transparency,” said Rep. Mace. “By ensuring thorough cost-benefit analysis, it strikes the right balance between effective governance and individual freedom, fostering economic growth and innovation.”
