Patrick Blevins, founder and general manager of Carolina Custom Air (CCA), said the company's top priorities are its customers and employees.

Founded in 2007, the company was acquired by Ace Hardware earlier this month.

"Carolina Custom Air puts our customers and employees first," Blevins told Charleston Reporter. "We want our customers to feel comfortable, both in their home and with our technicians."

"Our employees are like family," Blevins added. "It's important to provide a work environment that is positive and promotes a healthy work-life balance."

CCA was founded by Belvins and his wife in 2007. He grew up working for his grandfather's business, Daniels Heating and Refrigeration and later attended Virginia Military Institute, graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, he worked for a company in Charleston, SC in the nuclear field, until six years later, he left his job to start Carolina Custom Air.

CCA serves Charleston County and the surrounding regions, according to the company's website. CCA lists their offerings as heating and air conditioning services, maintenance agreements, and system replacements. For those in the process of constructing a new home, CCA also collaborates with contractors or builders to deliver expert HVAC designs, ensuring the highest level of comfort. The company has kept up with technology throughout the years, which benefits their customers. Over the next five years, CCA aspires to broaden its service coverage while sustaining growth. The company is committed to remaining at the forefront of technological advancements.

In August of 2023, Carolina Custom Air was acquired by Ace Hardware, according to a press release. In the release, the company notes that they're excited for the new partnership with Ace, as their core values align by putting their customers first and prioritizing service.
