NCPD Cpl. Etminan and Mayor Burgess recently participated in the Miss Cancer Warrior breast cancer awareness walk, themed "Walking for a Cure." The event aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer and show support for those affected by the disease.

Cpl. Etminan expressed the agency's dedication to the cause, stating, "Our agency is committed to joining our community in supporting breast cancer fighters and honoring those who lost their lives to this disease."

Mayor Burgess emphasized the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer, highlighting that "Early detection is crucial." He also noted that, "With early detection, breast cancer is highly treatable, and the survival rate is excellent."
