Washington, D.C. (June 14, 2024) – Representative Nancy Mace's office announced the passage of 15 amendments in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Following the act's passage, Rep. Mace released a statement emphasizing the NDAA's focus on national security and support for military personnel.

"This year's National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) refocuses our military on its primary mission: it includes deploying the National Guard to the southwest border, fast-tracking new weapons, supporting our allies, and enhancing our nuclear and missile defense systems. By recognizing and addressing the threats from Communist China, Russia, and Iran, we are taking decisive steps to ensure our nation's security," said Rep. Nancy Mace.

Rep. Mace also highlighted the NDAA's commitment to improving the quality of life for service members and their families. "This NDAA also reflects our dedication to ensuring the highest quality of life for those who serve and their families by making significant investments in their well-being: providing substantial pay increases, removing employment obstacles for military spouses, and improving military housing and childcare services,” she added.
