Charleston city offices to close for Juneteenth observance

The City of Charleston offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Public Service:

During the week of June 17, garbage and trash collection on the Peninsula, Inner West Ashley, and James Island will follow a normal schedule on Monday and Tuesday. Collections scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday will be delayed by one day due to the Juneteenth holiday. Garbage and trash collection on Johns Island, Daniel Island, and Outer West Ashley will adhere to their regular schedules.

Recreation:

The Municipal Golf Course will remain open on Wednesday, June 19. However, all tennis centers, pools, and other recreation facilities besides the Municipal Golf Course will be closed.

City Offices:

All City Offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19.
