This week, the department officially welcomed Patrolman D. Dery into its ranks. Sworn in by Deputy Chief Johnson, Ptl. Dery brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the team. As an out-of-state certified officer, Ptl. Dery has already demonstrated a high level of dedication and capability in law enforcement, making this transition an exciting development for the community.

Ptl. Dery will be embarking on Field Training, where he will have the opportunity to integrate his prior knowledge with the department’s unique approaches and community values. The department is confident that Ptl. Dery’s background and skills will make him an invaluable asset to the patrol team.
