The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) will host a "Coffee with a Cop" event this Friday at the Target store located on Rivers Avenue. The initiative aims to foster better community relations by providing an informal setting where residents can meet and engage with local police officers.
"Come by, meet our officers, and grab a cup of coffee," the department announced. Community members are encouraged to invite family and friends to join the event.
The NCPD hopes for strong community participation in this effort to enhance communication and understanding between law enforcement and residents.
