On Sept. 13, Captain Glover and Deputy Chief Johnson awarded Mr. Midget and Ms. Harrison the police department’s “Civilian Achievement Award” for their actions in defusing, de-escalating, and maintaining safety during a weapons incident at Stall High School, where they are both employed.
Their actions were described as a testament to the school district’s saying, “Students are the heart of our work.”
