Congresswoman Nancy Mace issued a statement on September 11, 2024, emphasizing the importance of vigilance in combating terrorism.

"The memory of those who perished on 9/11 serves as a stark reminder of why we must remain vigilant in our work to end terrorism," she said. "23 years ago, our nation was attacked, and nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost. The pain of that day is still felt deeply by the victims' families and all of us who remember the heartbreak and heroism."

Mace highlighted ongoing concerns about terrorism in the Middle East, stating it poses an even greater threat to global security today. She affirmed the United States' commitment to defending its homeland and allies.

"Today, terrorism is running rampant across the Middle East, posing an even greater threat to global security. The United States will not waver in defending our homeland, our people, and our allies from these growing dangers," Mace concluded.
