Rep. Nancy Mace has expressed strong concerns regarding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) following the employment of a Hamas leader, Fateh Sherif, in Lebanon. In her statement, Rep. Mace criticized the Biden-Harris administration for continuing to fund UNRWA despite these developments.

"The Biden-Harris administration chose to refund UNRWA, which hired Hamas leader Fateh Sherif in Lebanon," stated Rep. Mace. She further questioned the threshold of tolerance for such actions by asking, "How many more terrorists need to be on their payroll before we finally wake up?"

Rep. Mace's statement concluded with a call to action: "Cut UNRWA’s funding, strip their tax-exempt status, and stop enabling terrorism with American taxpayer dollars."

The situation highlights ongoing debates over U.S. funding for international organizations and their impact on global security.
