Rep. Nancy Mace has expressed concerns about the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) employing individuals affiliated with Hamas. She highlighted recent operations by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that allegedly confirm these claims. According to Mace, some of these employees are directly linked to violent acts, including those on October 7th which resulted in numerous casualties.

In response to these allegations, Rep. Mace's office has introduced an amendment aimed at halting U.S. financial contributions to UNRWA. Furthermore, she has co-sponsored H.R. 1102, known as the UNRWA Accountability and Transparency Act.

Mace stated: “The IDF’s recent operations confirm UNRWA is employing Hamas terrorists—individuals directly responsible for the massacre of innocents, including Americans, on October 7th."

She emphasized the need for accountability and transparency in how funds are utilized by international organizations like UNRWA.
