Veterans' Day Parade prompts road closures on November 3

The annual Veterans’ Day Parade is set for Sunday, November 3, 2024. The event will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with the parade starting at Concord and Market Streets and concluding at Broad Street near Colonial Lake. The entire route will be closed to traffic between 12:50 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Key times for the day include an 11 a.m. staging on Concord & Pritchard Streets, full route closure at 12:50 p.m., the start of the parade with a scheduled flyover at 1 p.m., and the parade's conclusion at 2:30 p.m. The full route will reopen by 3 p.m.

Access to the South of Broad neighborhood will be restricted during the parade hours. Officers will be present along the route to manage traffic flow and neighborhood access.
