City of Charleston announces office closures for Veterans Day

The City of Charleston has announced that its offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024, in observance of Veterans Day.

Regarding city services on Veterans Day:

For residents of Daniel Island and Cainhoy served by Capital Waste, there will be no changes to the regular schedule. The same applies to outer West Ashley and Johns Island residents serviced by Trident Waste.

In contrast, for the Peninsula, Inner West Ashley, and James Island areas covered by city crews, there will be no waste collection on Monday. The collection scheduled for Monday will occur one day later than usual.

The Municipal Golf Course will remain open on November 11th; however, all other recreation facilities will be closed.

All city offices will also remain closed on that day.
