Next Friday, November 22, the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) will host its annual 'A Day of Thanksgiving' turkey giveaway. The event is scheduled to take place next to the North Charleston Coliseum parking garage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The department plans to distribute 250 turkeys along with bags of fixings. Additionally, hot meals featuring mac and cheese, green beans, yellow rice, yams, and fried turkey will be prepared for attendees.
