Nancy Mace, the U.S. Congressional representative for South Carolina’s 1st district, took to social media on March 27, 2025, to voice her opinions on a series of events. Mace, known for her outspoken nature, posted a sequence of tweets centered around Tom Homan and public safety issues allegedly linked to GM Whitley.

On March 27, 2025, Mace tweeted, "Tom Homan is crushing it." The tweet was accompanied by a link, suggesting a reference or support to Homan, although details were sparse.

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Mace advised the public to steer clear of an event she deemed propaganda, stating, "Please remember, this event is FAKE NEWS, and we strongly urge all residents to stay away for your own safety. GM Whitley is trying to sow violence in Mt. Pleasant. These are not our values, regardless of your political affiliation. These paid agitators are intentionally."

Later, she expressed concern about Whitley’s impact on safety and ethics, "GM Whitley is putting public safety at risk to the detriment of Lowcountry residents. Her tactics are unethical and dangerous to those who attend her town hall tomorrow."
