Rep. Nancy Mace, serving in the U.S. Congress for South Carolina’s 1st district, utilized her platform on April 8, 2025, to highlight disturbing incidents involving Eric Bowman and his business partner, Patrick Bryant. These incidents were discussed in detail in her February 10 floor speech, bringing public attention to ongoing legal matters.

In a tweet posted on April 8, 2025, Rep. Nancy Mace stated, “But that’s not the only rape I uncovered at Eric Bowman’s home. In a second video, Patrick Bryant can be seen breaking into a room, pants undone, ready to rape a different, incapacitated woman… Eric Bowman, his business partner, filmed it.” Mace further mentioned that Eric Bowman had been arrested.

Continuing her updates on the situation, Mace posted again on the same day, stating, "Here are some of the incidents I was able to look up in publicly available documents. Eric Bowman, one of the men featured prominently in my February 10 floor speech, and business partners with Patrick Bryant, was arrested this morning for stalking and harassment in the first."

In another post on April 8, 2025, she noted, "One of the predators prominently featured in my February 10 floor speech was arrested this morning. His arraignment is at 10am today. If you harm women and kids, you should face the full force of the law. Period. End of story. HOLD THE LINE."
