Rep. Nancy Mace, who has been representing South Carolina's 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, made several pointed statements via social media on April 19, 2025, reflecting her views on immigration and the policies of what she terms "the Left."

In a post at 21:34 UTC, Mace critiqued the perceived leniency of the Left towards the notorious gang MS-13. Her tweet read, "Only the Left looks at MS-13 ink and thinks it stands for 'Misunderstood Sweetheart 13'."

At 22:40 UTC, Mace addressed the issue of funding for individuals who have entered the country illegally. She asserted, "Taxpayer dollars should NEVER fund benefits for criminals who broke our laws to get here. Our American Students First Act says: No in-state tuition No state aid No federal funding for schools who violate this."

Finally, in a tweet posted at 23:37 UTC, Mace commented on the notion of compassion as viewed by the Left, stating, "This is what 'compassion' looks like to the Left: trafficked kids, shattered families, and predators walking free."

Nancy Mace, 45, born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and residing in Charleston, graduated from The Citadel in 1999 and has been serving in Congress since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021.
