The Citadel men’s basketball team will have two of its February games broadcast on Nexstar affiliates, according to an announcement from the Southern Conference. The selected matchups include an away game against Western Carolina on February 11 and a rivalry contest at Furman on February 25. Both games are scheduled for a 6 p.m. ET tipoff and will be available on local Nexstar stations across the Southeast as well as streamed live on ESPN+.

In their previous meeting this season, The Citadel secured its first Southern Conference win by defeating Western Carolina 79-77 in overtime at home on January 10. Carter Kingsbury led the Bulldogs with 22 points, while Braxton Williams added 21. Western Carolina was paced by Marcus Kell’s game-high 24 points and Cord Stansberry’s 23.

The Bulldogs also faced Furman earlier in the season, overcoming a 19-point deficit to win 77-75 in overtime on January 21. Sola Adebisi scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds for The Citadel, while Charles Johnston led Furman with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Nexstar affiliates airing these games include WMYT (Charlotte), WYCW (Spartanburg/Greenville/Asheville), WWCW (Roanoke, VA), WCBD (Charleston, SC), WBTW (Myrtle Beach, SC), WGHP (Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem), WHDF (Huntsville/Florence, AL), and WJHL (Johnson City, TN). Additionally, EFLI in Chattanooga and WMUB in Macon will have the opportunity to air games from this season’s package despite not being Nexstar stations.

Other Southern Conference games featured in the Nexstar broadcast package this month include VMI at Wofford on February 18.
