On Saturday, Dec. 6, former The Citadel standout Jamar Blandin’s current collegiate team the Newberry Wolves won 31-24 against the Albany State Golden Rams in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The game took place at ASU Coliseum at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Albany State Golden Rams in the tournament.

The Newberry Wolves’ next game will take place on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 12 p.m. at Top Taggart Field.
