MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C., - Mount Pleasant OB/GYN, a part of East Cooper Medical Group, recently added Jamie Marth, MD, as an obstetrician/gynecologist. Dr. Marth joins an all-female team of OB/GYNs at Mount Pleasant OB/GYN, including Drs. Susanne Bradford, Lindsay Foley, Karen Hallmark, Meghan Lynch and Phyllis Rogerson. Originally from New Orleans, Dr. Marth was born into a large family of obstetricians and gynecologists, with her father, aunt and uncle all being physicians in the New Orleans area. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Marth then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Marth specializes in infertility evaluation and treatment, low and high-risk pregnancies, postpartum well-being and health and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. “Dr. Marth will be a huge asset to the team at Mount Pleasant OB/GYN,” said Wayne O.
