The Town of Mount Pleasant and Charleston County will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day
When: Dec 10th, 8:00 am -12:00 pm

Materials that will be accepted:
• Household batteries, car batteries, battery acid, and NiCad batteries
• Used Paint (stains, oil, and latex-based paint "1 up to 5-gallon containers")
• Used Cleaning Chemicals (insect and weed killer, and all types of household cleaners)
• eWaste (TVs, Computers, Printers, & Laptops)
For household hazardous waste items after the December 10th event, residents are encouraged to take items to the closest drop-off sites:
• Bees Ferry Convenience Center - 1344 Bees Ferry Rd, Charleston, SC 29414
• Maxville Road Convenience Center – 6380 Maxville Rd, Awendaw, SC 29429
