Minor league sports have been a staple of Charleston dating back to the 1980’s, with the founding of the Charleston Royals, now Riverdogs, baseball team. In 1993, the South Carolina Stingrays hockey team and Charleston Battery soccer club joined the Lowcountry’s sports landscape.

For decades, these minor league teams have been tasked with developing major league talent, while providing an unforgettable experience for fans. Join us at “The Joe” to hear from top executives at the Riverdogs, Stingrays and Battery on their economic impact and value to the community.

Panelists include:

Dave Echols, President and General Manager, Charleston Riverdogs

Todd Holleran, Principal Owner and Executive Chairman, South Carolina Stringrays Hockey

    Rob Salvatore, Owner, Charleston Battery
