Patrolman Kasin Alex has been awarded the prestigious "Second Chance Award" for his heroic actions that saved a man's life. The award recognizes his unwavering dedication and the tangible difference he made in the lives of those he serves.

Last month, Officer Alex responded to an urgent call on Constitution Ave. and found a male individual unresponsive. Demonstrating composure and precision, he administered Narcan, a life-saving intervention for suspected overdoses. Thanks to his quick thinking and expert training, the individual regained a weak pulse, marking the first step towards recovery.

The subsequent care provided by EMS and hospital staff further ensured the individual's path to recovery, a journey made possible by Officer Alex's initial intervention. In recognition of his exceptional act of heroism, Officer Alex was presented with the "Second Chance Award."
